Recuperating

I had my gallbladder removed on Wednesday 13th July.  I ended up staying in over night coming out the following afternoon.  Good news is the op all went well, all is out and sorted no follow-up procedure needed and it was done keyhole no need for open surgery.  So I’m at home recuperating.  I need to take this time to do very little.  Not easy for me sometimes.  And to let my body take its time recuperating not force it a long.

Who needs a gall bladder anyway! Hope you can enjoy the enforced repose (although if you’re anything like me, I find it quite a trial after a few hours).

I always think my body will be ready to run around way before it really is!
I am very glad it went well!

  6. Happy to hear that you’re okay. And glad to see your fingers can still type. May I be crass and ask something I’ve always wondered? Do you worry about the pain management medication? Can that be a slippery slope?

I have been told that the pain of a gallbladder attack is some of the worst imaginable! So very glad you came through the operation with minimal slicing and dicing!
